USING FACE MASK

One thing this compulsory facemask-wearing era has taught me is to revere everybody.

I don’t know about you but unless I know you very well, I can hardly recognize the person behind a facemask.

It’s worse because of the kind of setting I have to be in all the time. Everyone is corporately and smartly dressed and the facemask just makes it almost impossible to differentiate the professor from your direct senior colleagues, your junior colleagues, your far juniors, the paramedics, the clerical staff. Everyone just looks like your oga.

So the safest thing to do is just to bow and greet whoever you walk past on the corridor.

If it turns out to be your oga, fine.
If it be that you just, so respectfully, greeted your far junior (who should be greeting you, normally). Still fine!

Which is safer?

You don’t greet and it turns out the person you ignored is your professor?
Then, welcome to wahala.com.

Largely, you’d agree with me that the use of facemask has made most of us way more cautious, especially in the professional environment.

‘cos, you just can’t tell.

I was with one of my professors sometime when a ‘feared’ oga walked in. You know those type of senior colleagues that are never friendly, yea?

He couldn’t recognize me behind the facemask, so he greeted prof and greeted me as well (with a ‘Ma’😂)

Knowing who he was, I got up immediately and offered him my seat.

He politely refused. “No, sit down, Ma!” He just added a ‘Ma’ again.

At that point, my prof instructed him to take the seat I was offering him. “She’s one of your juniors. Why are you acting so respectfully?”

Prof asked me to pull down my facemask and reveal my real face.

The man began to laugh. The facemask I was wearing just deceived/confused him. Made him think that I was his oga, when he was actually mine.

That’s how the devil has been scamming you, beloved.

Something that is ordinarily supposed to be subject to you, the devil wears it a facemask and there you have been – revering and honoring it.

You have given problems a special throne in your life so much so that you personalize them with honorary titles;
“This is MY PROBLEM”
“That MY SICKNESS has started again.”
“MY FEAR is that people don’t make it in my house.”
“WITCHES AND WIZARDS May cut short my life”

Devil has worn facemask now. So Instead of saying, “get behind me, satan”, you’re greeting/apologizing/begging him. “please devil sir, leave me and my family alone. Please. We won’t trouble you. Just leave us alone in peace.”

Devil has worn facemask!

You’re not seeing him for who he truly is anymore. You’re thinking he’s above you when In the real sense, he’s to be trampled under foot.

Kai!!!

Wake up and see your real position. You’ve been soft on that issue long enough. You’re focusing on the depth of your pain and not the size of your God.

Apostle Paul praying, he said;

“that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

…far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

…and hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:17-23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We’re joint heirs with Christ. His is ours.

It’s time to pull the facemask off the devil’s face so as to see him for who he truly is – a thief, a murderer and a destroyer.

Pay no attention to him.

It’s time for all the things you’ve been running from to start running from you. Pull the mask off the faces of problems and address them aright. You’re not actually their mate, it’s the mask over them that’s confusing and deceiving you.

Enough!

It’s time to pursue your pursuers, for thus Saith the Lord, you shall pursue, you shall overtake, and you shall recover all.

God bless you!
